Street Market Style Vegan Choco Mousse & Truffles Recipe

Vegan Choco Mousse & Truffles Recipe

Preparation time: 10 minutes

100g coconut milk
200g dark chocolate (50% cacao or baking dark chocolate)

A pinch of salt

1. Melt the chocolate in the coconut milk until it becomes creamy, using low fire and stirring all the time so the chocolate doesn’t burn or stick on your pan, and voilá, almost done!

2. Then you place it in small little cups, and let it rest in the fridge for a few hours until is creamy and dense.
It’s super simple, the quality and taste of it will just depend on the quality of the chocolate, and how much love you put in while you make it!
You can also add flavours to it, like vanilla or cardamon in powder (yes, cardamon goes amazingly with chocolate), and if you reduce the quantity of coconut milk, it will have a harder consistency that you can shape into balls and make truffles!

This recipe makes 8 to 10 cups of mousse or truffles (roughly 25 to 30g per truffle)
