Frozen Fruit Smoothie Recipe
During hot summer days we need to keep hydrated and restore the nutrients that we can lose when sweating it out. One of the most delicious ways of doing so is with a vitamin-rich smoothie. You can pre-freeze fruits (this works better peeled and cut into pieces before freezing), and use these frozen fruits instead of water or ice cubes for your smoothies.
1 cup frozen fruits (berries, bananas, pineapple, apples, papaya, etc)
1/4 to 1/2 cup water
(Optional) Mint and fresh lemon juice.
1. Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until it is smooth.
2. Adjust the water according to the type of fruit and the consistency you want, and that’s it! A packet full of vitamins and antioxidants ready to boost up your body!
